INTRODUCING DIRECT CONTRACTING
HOW YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR OWN DESTINY
Add Transparency. Go Direct. Save Money.
Have you ever asked a hospital how much they charge for a service?
What did they tell you? Did you know that hospitals, even in the same city, charge drastically different prices for the same services? What about quality? How do you know which hospital is the “best” in a particular area?
Direct Purchasing can be the answer to all of these questions.

Direct Contracting, a version of Direct Purchasing, allows self-insured employers to have set negotiated prices directly with medical facilities that provide high-quality services at a lower cost–saving employers more than 30%. This direct relationship includes hospitals, surgery centers, imaging centers, and other high costs facilities. These costs typically represent over 80% of health plan spend, while less than 20% of the overall healthcare visits. This reduces the need for employers, and their employees, to painfully navigate their way through a maze of wild price variations and poor outcomes.
